The Abs Diet For Women

The abs diet for women is part two of the article started on the page titled Ab Diet.

One good thing the abs diet for women does is to stress the importance of including healthy foods in your diet most often and leaving the less healthy ones to having only on occasion.

It does not remove entire food groups off your menu or make you become a calorie counting machine. For me and many others, this approach works best since it is not as rigid as some of the other diets we've tried in the past.

The abs diet for women breaks food into 4 groups.

1. The 12 magic foods you should be eating as much as possible. These are nuts, berries, beans, green vegetables, low fat dairy, instant oatmeal, lean turkey or chicken, natural peanut butter, olive oil, eggs, whole grain cereal, and whey protein powder.

2. Foods you should try to eat often include pizza, popcorn, shellfish, sweet potatoes, soup, peas, citrus fruits and juices, Canadian bacon, brown rice, bananas, mushrooms, melons, apples, avocados, lean game, lentils and peppers.

3. Foods you should eat only occasionally include baked potatoes, light beer, butter, chocolate, coffee, lasagne, lunchmeat, light margarine, pudding, french fries, granola, ham, ice cream, jams, pork tenderloin, sauerkraut, rice, sherbet, veal, white wine, and yogurt..

4. Foods you should try to avoid are bacon, bagels, baked goods, beef, beer, white flour, jellies, margarine, non-dairy creamer, pastries, creamy pasta, peanut butter (non-natural), soft drinks, creamy soups, ribs, and fried vegetables.

Of course there are other foods in each of the categories, but I've listed enough to give you a good feel for each one.

All in all, I'd say the abs diet for women does a pretty good job recommending foods that should be the mainstay of your diet and which should be avoided. By choosing many of the foods recommended by the abs diet for women you likely will be eating a fairly low number of calories and as a result should lose weight and feel much healthier.

In my opinion, what puts the abs diet for women above others and why I recommend it is that it does not cut out any specific food groups. I said that earlier, but it's worth repeating.

For most people, cutting out entire food groups is just something they are not looking for. Not everyone has the desire to eliminate carbs entirely from their plan or go on some super low fat diet. The abs diet for women is a much more realistic approach you can easily fit into your life, giving it a far greater chance of success.
